Teaching and Learning Hyperbolic Functions (I); Definitions and Fundamental Properties [PDF]

open access: yesPedActa, 2016
We propose that in some papers (4 maybe 5 !) to present a model of teaching and learning in secondary education of hyperbolic functions, giving many properties (starting with fundamental ones and finishing with development in Tayler ...

Radiative Hybrid Nanofluid Flow Over a Porous Riga Surface: A Fuzzy–ANN Modeling Approach

open access: yesAsia-Pacific Journal of Chemical Engineering, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This study proposes a fuzzy–ANN model to investigate the nonlinear thermal transport in a tangent hyperbolic (Tanh) hybrid nanofluid flow past a porous Riga surface, considering the effects of Rosseland diffusion, chemical reactions, and internal volumetric heating.

Numerical Study of MHD Hybrid Nanofluid Flow With Multiple Slip Effects Over a Variable Porous Stretching Surface

open access: yesAsia-Pacific Journal of Chemical Engineering, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This work discusses the thermal performance of magnetized hybrid nanofluid flow over a variable porous stretchable surface, emphasizing the underlying physical mechanisms governing heat and mass transfer. The Cattaneo–Christov flux model is used in place of Fourier's and Fick's laws to incorporate relaxation effects, ensuring a more realistic ...

Pure Inverse Spin Hall Effect in Ferromagnetic Ni80Fe20/Y3Fe5O12 (YIG) Heterostructures via the Longitudinal Spin Seebeck Effect

open access: yesAdvanced Physics Research, EarlyView.
A pure inverse spin Hall effect (ISHE) is demonstrated in ferromagnetic Ni₈₀Fe2₀/YIG heterostructures via the longitudinal spin Seebeck effect. By employing symmetry‐controlled geometries and reference samples, anomalous Nernst contributions are quantitatively eliminated, revealing intrinsic spin–charge conversion in Ni₈₀Fe2₀.

Hypergeometric series approach to the p-generalized Masjed-Jamei type inequality

open access: yesDemonstratio Mathematica
In this paper, we establish a counterpart of the Masjed-Jamei inequality involving the inverse hyperbolic tangent and inverse trigonometric sine functions, and extend this Masjed-Jamei type inequality to the setting of p-generalized inverse trigonometric

A critical reappraisal of the carotid sinus and carotid bulb: Distinguishing neurohistological function from vascular geometry

open access: yesThe Anatomical Record, EarlyView.
This review redefines the carotid bulb (CB) as a variable geometric dilation shaped by hemodynamics and the carotid sinus (CS) as a conserved neurohistological baroreceptor field. Distinguishing these entities clarifies a century of anatomical confusion and links geometry, neurohistology, and clinical interpretation within a unified framework ...

Previously undocumented regional variability in crab‐eating macaque skull sexual dimorphism and its implications for biological and morphometric studies

open access: yesThe Anatomical Record, EarlyView.
Abstract In a large sample of adult crab‐eating macaques, we quantified sexual dimorphism in size, shape, and covariance across the whole skull and among anatomical regions of the cranium and mandible. All regions showed significant mean sex differences, but the magnitude of size and shape dimorphism varied substantially.
