Improved authentication and computation of medical data transmission in the secure IoT using hyperelliptic curve cryptography

open access: yesThe Journal of Supercomputing, 2021

Explicit height estimates for CM curves of genus 2

open access: yesTransactions of the London Mathematical Society, Volume 12, Issue 1, December 2025.
Abstract In this paper, we make explicit the constants of Habegger and Pazuki's work from 2017 on bounding the discriminant of cyclic Galois CM fields corresponding to genus 2 curves with CM and potentially good reduction outside a predefined set of primes. We also simplify some of the arguments.

Hasse principle for Kummer varieties in the case of generic 2‐torsion

open access: yesProceedings of the London Mathematical Society, Volume 131, Issue 1, July 2025.
Abstract Conditional on finiteness of relevant Shafarevich–Tate groups, Harpaz and Skorobogatov used Swinnerton‐Dyer's descent‐fibration method to establish the Hasse principle for Kummer varieties associated to a 2‐covering of a principally polarised abelian variety under certain largeness assumptions on its mod 2 Galois image.

A Thorough Review of Security in Information‐Centric Networking

open access: yesIET Information Security, Volume 2025, Issue 1, 2025.
The rapid evolution of technology has revealed the limitations of host‐centric or IP address–based networks. To overcome these limitations, a new communication paradigm has emerged: the information‐centric networking (ICN), which focuses on content (data) regardless of its location in the network.

Proxy Blind Signature using Hyperelliptic Curve Cryptography [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
Blind signature is the concept to ensure anonymity of e-coins. Untracebility and unlinkability are two main properties of real coins and should also be mimicked electronically. A user has to fulll above two properties of blind signature for permission to

Scalable Consensus Algorithm and Storage in Decentralized Blockchain (SCSB) For Heterogeneous Internet of Things (IoT) Systems

open access: yesThe Journal of Engineering, Volume 2025, Issue 1, January/December 2025.
The SCSB design consists of the DO, DU, TA, and cloud server. The cloud server manages a huge number of data, hence it receives multiple DU requests. The DO is also authenticated and then allowed to upload data. ABSTRACT The internet of things (IoT) is widespread in various real‐time applications in developing smart environments.

Comprehensive Analysis of Lightweight Cryptographic Algorithms for Battery‐Limited Internet of Things Devices

open access: yesInternational Journal of Distributed Sensor Networks, Volume 2025, Issue 1, 2025.
The growth of billions of devices functioning in resource‐constrained situations in the Internet of Things (IoT) era poses serious security issues. As a result of their limited processing power efficiency, memory, and battery life, traditional cryptographic algorithms like elliptic curve cryptography (ECC), Rivest–Shamir–Adleman (RSA), and Advanced ...
