Introduction McCune-Albright syndrome is a complex inborn disorder due to early embryonal postzygotic somatic activating mutations in the GNAS1 gene. The phenotype is very heterogeneous and includes polyostotic fibrous dysplasia, typically involving the ...

Hypercortisolism: Causes, Consequences and Clinical Significance – A Review of Pathophysiology
ABSTRACT Hypercortisolism or Cushing syndrome is a heterogeneous clinical spectrum caused by chronic glucocorticoid excess, ranging from exogenous Cushing syndrome to rare endogenous aetiologies and the increasingly recognised entity of mild autonomous cortisol secretion (MACS). Physiological cortisol production is tightly regulated by the hypothalamic–

COMPARATIVE MORPHOFUNCTIONAL CHARACTERISTIC OF ADRENAL GLANDS IN ARTERIAL HYPERTENSION
The article is devoted to the study of morphological changes of the adrenal glands in arterial hyperten-sion. Adrenals investigated persons who do not suffer in life and suffering from hypertension during the life of hypertension and died from various ...

This review describes the features of grade C molar‐incisor pattern periodontitis and discusses the role of A. actinomycetemcomitans in its pathogenesis and why molars and incisors are preferably affected. Possible future studies on this aggressive disease in primary and permanent dentition and emerging omics techniques for diagnosis and management are

Parametric Closed Classes of Hyperfunctions on Two-Element Set
One of the direction in discrete function's investigations is research of functional systems: the sets of functions and the sets of operators defined on this functions.

Hyperfunctions: Communicating Continuations
A hyperfunction is a continuation-like construction that can be used to implement communication in the context of concurrency. Though it has been reinvented many times, it remains somewhat obscure: since its definition by Launchbury et al., hyperfunctions have been used to implement certain algebraic effect handlers, coroutines, and breadth-first

ABSTRACT Graves' disease may rarely present with predominant neuropsychiatric symptoms, such as severe, treatment‐resistant panic attacks, leading to misdiagnosis as a primary psychiatric disorder. We describe a 30‐year‐old woman with refractory panic attacks and night terrors who was initially treated with anxiolytics and antidepressants.

On Complexity of Standard Forms for Multifunctions
Consider discrete functions defined on set A. In this case we define multifunctions as functions on set $2^A$. Values of a multifunction for inputs equal to one-element sets are given and values for other sets are calculated as a union of values on ...

Figure 1 visually summarizes the core biological functions and therapeutic potential of the HGF/c‐Met signaling axis. Abstract Hepatocyte growth factor (HGF) is a multifunctional cytokine that activates the tyrosine kinase activity of its specific receptor, c‐Met (mesenchymal–epithelial transition factor).
