The Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism, 1976Fasting plasma gastrin levels measured by radioimmunoassay were found to be elevated in patients with hyperthyroidism. The intravenous injection of arginine caused an increase of plasma gastrin in hyperthyroid patients as in normal subjects.
