Ventricular tachycardia during hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy
Anaesthesia, 2009Summary Cytoreductive surgery with hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC) is used for selected gastrointestinal carcinomas. We report a case of ventricular tachycardia during HIPEC with cisplatin that persisted as long as the chemotherapy solution remained in the intra‐abdominal cavity.
