The Effect of Low Glycemic Load Diet on Central Obesity and Lipid Related Metabolic Abnormalities in T2DM Patients Is Comparable to That of Energy‐Restricted Diet: A Randomized, Open, Parallel Controlled Study

open access: yesFood Science &Nutrition, Volume 14, Issue 6, June 2026.
This graphical abstract illustrates the design and key findings of a randomized, open‐label, parallel‐controlled trial comparing two dietary maintenance strategies in newly diagnosed Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) patients after short‐term intensive insulin therapy (SIIT).

Developmental Profiling of Structural and Functional Maturation in Mouse Corpus Callosum

open access: yesGlia, Volume 74, Issue 6, June 2026.
Progressive myelin development in mouse corpus callosum is accompanied by gradual decrease in oligodendrocyte precursor cell density and increase in oligodendrocyte density. Pro‐Capase‐3 is transiently upregulated in oligodendrocyte during postnatal development.

The Effect of Ankle–Foot Orthoses and Their Characteristics on Balance, and Postural Control in Children With Cerebral Palsy: A Systematic Review

open access: yesHealth Science Reports, Volume 9, Issue 6, June 2026.
ABSTRACT Background and Aims Cerebral palsy (CP) frequently compromises postural control and balance in children. Ankle–foot orthoses (AFOs) are routinely prescribed to improve stability, yet the influence of specific design parameters—stiffness, alignment, and individualized tuning—on balance outcomes remains inadequately characterized.

CHD4 Orchestrates Chromatin Remodeling to Activate the c‐Myc Signaling Pathway in Cancer Pathogenesis

open access: yesMedComm – Oncology, Volume 5, Issue 2, June 2026.
CHD4 plays an essential role as an epigenetic regulator in the pathogenesis of multiple myeloma. The chromatin remodeling protein initially resolves G‐quadruplex (G4) secondary structures within the c‐Myc promoter region, thereby enhancing chromatin accessibility and promoting transcriptional activation.
