Lymphocytic Esophagitis Mimicking Eosinophilic Esophagitis and Esophageal Candidiasis: A Case Report
ABSTRACT A 59‐year‐old man presented with a 5‐year history of progressive dysphagia. Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD) revealed an esophageal stricture with adherent whitish exudates, and biopsy specimens demonstrated fungal elements. Subsequent EGD showed longitudinal furrows, concentric rings, and white exudates, mimicking eosinophilic esophagitis ...

Seeding rate and reseeding potential of ball clover in binary mixtures with annual ryegrass
Abstract Legumes can form symbiotic associations with rhizobia and fix atmospheric nitrogen (N), contributing N to forage systems when grown in mixtures with non‐N‐fixing species. Ball clover (BC; Trifolium nigrescens Viv.) is a cool‐season annual legume with strong reseeding potential due to its production of hard seed.

ABSTRACT Cicer arietinum L. (chickpea) is susceptible to Ascochyta blight (AB). Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) are symbiotic root colonizing fungi that exchange soil nutrients for photosynthetic carbon. AMF form common mycorrhizal networks (CMNs), connecting plant roots and transferring nutrients.

Ecological theory has been shaped disproportionately by studies conducted in young, disturbance‐prone, relatively fertile landscapes (YODFELs), mostly in the Global North. Yet, many megadiverse regions in the Global South are dominated by old, climatically buffered, infertile landscapes (OCBILs), resulting in fundamentally different patterns that ...

Integrative morphological and ITS‐based phylogenetic analyses confirm the occurrence of Cortinarius saniosus and C. desertorum in the montane Pinus sylvestris forests of Eastern Anatolia, Türkiye. These records represent a significant southeastward expansion of the species’ documented, distributions and provide molecularly characterized material from ...
