Hypogeous fungi from Southern Spanish semi-arid lands
1992Six hypogeous fungi of Ascomycotina and Basidiomycotina have been studied from semiarid zones in Southern Spain. Melanogaster variegatus (Vitt.) Tul. is recorded for the first time from Spain. Picoa juniperi Vitt. and Terfezia claveryi Chat. are revealed as the most frequent species in semi-arid zones. Taxonomical problems on Tuber puberulum Berk. & Br.

Ecology and distribution of hypogeous fungi from Sicily (southern Italy)
2006The distribution and ecology of 39 hypogeous and semi-hypogeous fungi is reported. Ten taxa, including the rare Fischerula macrospora, are new records for Sicily, while the presence of some species, previously reported by Oreste Mattirolo, is confirmed.

NEW RECORDS AND DATA ON HYPOGEOUS ECTOMYCORRHIZAL FUNGI IN BULGARIA
2016In this article, new data on species diversity of hypogeous macrofungi in Bulgaria are reported. Three species: Tuber rufum, Gautieria graveolens and Lactarius stephensii were recorded for first time in the country. New localities of noteworthy fungi Tuber excavatum and Gautieria morchelliformis are also reported.
