Non-excitation closed-loop identification based on hysteresis bias relay feedback

open access: yesComputers and Chemical Engineering
This paper proposes a closed-loop system identification method based on hysteresis loop bias relay feedback without using excitation. The method utilizes hysteresis loop bias relay instead of a controller to ensure the informativity of data without ...

Modeling and Simulation of the Fretting Hysteresis Loop

2010 International Conference on P2P, Parallel, Grid, Cloud and Internet Computing, 2010
This work deals with the modeling and simulation of the fretting hysteresis loop. Fretting represents a relative cyclic motion between two surfaces, having a non-uniform distribution of local relative displacement at their contact. Fretting damage is a complex contact phenomenon leading to crack initiation and/or material removal.

Hysteresis Loops of a Ferromagnet

The Physics Teacher, 2005
This paper describes the use of a common data acquisition system to obtain a family of hysteresis loops of a ferromagnet. Important properties of ferromagnets—nonlinear magnetization, hysteresis, and high magnetic permeability—are demonstrated.

THE HYSTERESIS LOOP 2. AN ANALYSIS OF THE LOOP SHAPE

Fatigue & Fracture of Engineering Materials & Structures, 1982
Abstract— Hysteresis loops of a low carbon steel measured at various temperatures and plastic strain amplitudes are analysed using the statistical theory of the hysteresis loop. It is shown that the parameters of the statistical theory characterizing the saturated hysteresis loop, i.e.

Hysteresis Loops in the Microstrain Region

physica status solidi (b), 1965
AbstractPrevious papers concerning the hysteresis loops in the microstrain region have shown disagreement regarding the conditions under which closed hysteresis loops can be observed. The present paper shows that the explanation of this matter lies in the experimental procedure rather than in the type of material used.

A circuit model for open-loop compensation of hysteresis

2016 IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems (ISCAS), 2016
Hysteresis is a nonlinear phenomenon useful whenever memory is required, but that can become annoying in applications where linearity is desired. In these cases, a possible way to reduce the inconvenience is to compensate the undesired memory effect by pre-processing the input signal through the hysteresis inverse model. In this paper, the inverse of a

Hysteresis loop analytical approximation

Journal of Magnetism and Magnetic Materials, 1988
Abstract Two types of simple analytical expressions approximating the measured B ( H ) dependences of soft magnetic alloys are proposed. Their prevailence in fast and accurate fitting discrete set of ( B , H ) values is demonstrated at three types of materials.

Hysteresis Loop Analysis

IEEE Transactions on Component Parts, 1963
The apparent hysteresis loop of a square loop magnetic material is affected by winding capacitance, shorted turns, air gap, and strain. The effects of these parameters on an oscilloscopic display of the dynamic hysteresis loop are demonstrated.

Hysteresis loops of a bilayer superlattice

physica status solidi (b), 2007
AbstractWe apply the effective field theory with a probability distribution technique to study the effects of the interfacial coupling constant and the thickness on the hysteresis of the bilayer. A ferroelectric bilayer with an antiferroelectric interfacial coupling is investigated within the framework of the spin –1/2 Ising model.
