Polynomials in modules. I. Vector spaces
On the set of functions \(f: V\to W\), between R-modules, R an arbitrary commutative ring, one defines the operator \(A_ m\), \((A_ mf: V^ m\to W,\) \((A_ mf)(x)=\sum_{S\subset \{1,2,...,m\}}(-1)^{m-| S|}f(\sum_{i\in S}x_ i),\) \((\forall)\) \(x\in V^ m\), \(x=(x_ 1,x_ 2,...,x_ m)\), \(x_ i\in V\) [\textit{M.

Structural insights into an engineered feruloyl esterase with improved MHET degrading properties
A feruloyl esterase was engineered to mimic key features of MHETase, enhancing the degradation of PET oligomers. Structural and computational analysis reveal how a point mutation stabilizes the active site and reshapes the binding cleft, expading substrate scope.

Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

Statistics of a parallel Poynting vector in the auroral zone as a function of altitude using Polar EFI and MFE data and Astrid-2 EMMA data [PDF]
We study the wave-related (AC) and static (DC) parallel Poynting vector (Poynting energy flux) as a function of altitude in auroral field lines using Polar EFI and MFE data.

Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) is a chronic metabolic disorder for which current treatments are unable to prevent the onset of complications. Previously, we used an adeno-associated viral vector (AAV8) to deliver furin-cleavable human insulin (INS-FUR) to the ...
