The Genetic Legacy of Cretan Landrace Grapevines and Their Relationship to the Southern Levant
PLANTS, PEOPLE, PLANET, EarlyView.Grapes are more than an agricultural crop; they are a vital part of human history, economy, and culture. Yet the origins of many traditional varieties remain unclear. By studying the genetics of Cretan grapes, we discovered that they are a “genetic mosaic”—combining local lineages with those from the Southern Levant and Eastern Europe.

Sensory Neuroscience, EarlyView.Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) is associated with dysregulation of the autonomic nervous system and altered brain–gut communication. rTMS may alleviate IBS symptoms by modulating central autonomic and pain‐processing networks, potentially restoring sympathovagal balance and reducing visceral hypersensitivity.

Small, EarlyView.Two–dimensional (2D) Ca2Nb3O10 (CNO) support enhances metal–oxide interactions in Au catalysts for the electrochemical CO2 reduction reaction (CO2RR). This promotes partially oxidized Au species, efficient interfacial charge transfer, and higher CO selectivity compared with three–dimensional (3D) KCa2Nb3O10.
