This study integrates two decades of surveillance with genomic and structural analyses to decipher how spike protein glycosylation haplotypes drive avian coronavirus evolution. We uncover how specific glycosylation patterns associate with receptor‐binding affinity, shape global transmission dynamics, and correlate with clinical outcomes.

The Important Role of Lipid Raft-Mediated Attachment in the Infection of Cultured Cells by Coronavirus Infectious Bronchitis Virus Beaudette Strain. [PDF]
Lipid raft is an important element for the cellular entry of some viruses, including coronavirus infectious bronchitis virus (IBV). However, the exact role of lipid rafts in the cellular membrane during the entry of IBV into host cells is still unknown ...

Identification of a 24-kDa Polypeptide Processed from the Coronavirus Infectious Bronchitis Virus 1a Polyprotein by the 3C-like Proteinase and Determination of Its Cleavage Sites [PDF]
We report here the identification of a 24-kDa polypeptide in IBV-infected Vero cells by immunoprecipitation with a region-specific antiserum raised in rabbits against the IBV sequence encoded between nucleotides 10928 and 11493.
