“Don't shut down, these conversations need to happen”: Indigenous health professionals insights for advancing anti‐racism in health care

open access: yesMedical Education, Volume 60, Issue 6, Page 625-637, June 2026.
Abstract Background Indigenous peoples around the world continue to experience systemic racism and discrimination within health care, as a direct consequence of colonisation. In settler‐colonial states, such as Canada, current approaches to tackling anti‐Indigenous racism are often designed by non‐Indigenous peoples.

Post‐surgery level of circulating DNA in stage III colon cancer patients: Impact on the reliability of minimal residual disease detection

open access: yesInternational Journal of Cancer, Volume 158, Issue 10, Page 2771-2783, 15 May 2026.
What's New? Circulating nuclear DNA (cir‐nDNA)‐based assessment of minimal residual disease (MRD) offers powerful post‐surgery prognostic insight for stage III colon cancer (CC). Sparse knowledge of post‐surgical variations and origins in cir‐nDNA, however, has limited its clinical application.

Stereotactic arrhythmia radioablation for refractory ventricular tachycardia: A narrative review and pooled analysis of clinical outcomes and treatment delivery approaches

open access: yesJournal of Applied Clinical Medical Physics, Volume 27, Issue 5, May 2026.
Abstract Purpose Stereotactic arrhythmia radioablation (STAR) has emerged as a noninvasive salvage therapy for refractory ventricular tachycardia (VT), particularly in patients ineligible for catheter ablation (CA). This narrative review and pooled analysis evaluates STAR's efficacy, safety, and technical characteristics, integrating evidence from ...

Thermo‐Mechanically Recyclable Smart Textiles from Circularly Knitted Liquid Crystal Elastomer Fibers

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, Volume 36, Issue 37, 7 May 2026.
Reprogrammable multi‐material smart textiles knitted from liquid crystal elastomer fibers undergo 2D and 3D deformation under thermal and photo stimuli. Circularly knitted tubular structures reversibly contract in radial and axial directions, enabling autonomous climbing, liquid release, and micro pumping.

Dengue Virus Capsid Protein Interaction With Nucleic Acids

open access: yesBioFactors, Volume 52, Issue 3, May/June 2026.
Binding of dengue virus capsid protein (DENV C) to ssDNA alters Trp fluorescence intensity, lifetime, and anisotropy, revealing structural rearrangements in the complex and suggesting a possible association with liquid–liquid phase separation (LLPS). ABSTRACT Dengue virus (DENV) transmission has greatly increased in the last decade, partly due to the ...
