Pan‐cancer atlas of cellular architecture reveals a nearest‐neighbour distance‐associated biomechanical‐immune axis involving CD4+ memory T cells

open access: yesClinical and Translational Medicine, Volume 16, Issue 7, July 2026.
1. NND extracted from routine H&E slides serves as a spatial proxy for mechanical crowding across 21 cancer types. 2. Low NND is associated with Hippo/YAP/TAZ pathway activation and CD4+ TMem cell enrichment, validated by single‐cell and spatial transcriptomics. 3.

Idecabtagene vicleucel and endogenous T‐cell phenotypes linked to progression‐free survival in relapsed multiple myeloma

open access: yesHemaSphere, Volume 10, Issue 7, July 2026.
Abstract Improved understanding of how chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) and endogenous T‐cell phenotypes associate with progression‐free survival (PFS) is needed to individualize and improve immunotherapy outcomes in multiple myeloma (MM). We characterized and investigated the prognostic value of immune dynamics defined with multidimensional and ...

Kryptonite for Cryptocurrencies? What Are the Effects of Regulatory Controls on Bitcoin Returns and Volatility?

open access: yesInternational Journal of Finance &Economics, Volume 31, Issue 3, Page 3905-3920, July 2026.
ABSTRACT This paper examines the impact of regulatory controls on Bitcoin's excess returns and volatility. The paper innovates by proxying changes in the regulatory environment using global Google search volume intensity data. The generated regulatory indices accurately identify episodes of regulatory tightening within cryptocurrency markets.

Parameterizing air–sea CO2 transfer in a macroalgal habitat and assessing its role in marine carbon dioxide removal accounting

open access: yesLimnology and Oceanography Letters, Volume 11, Issue 4, July 2026.
Abstract Accurately quantifying air–sea CO2 exchange remains a central challenge for the measurement, reporting, and verification (MRV) of marine carbon dioxide removal. I apply direct eddy covariance measurements of CO2 fluxes at a macroalgae‐dominated coast to compile the first gas transfer velocity (k660) parameterization for such a habitat.

Concurrent Chemoradiotherapy Plus Immunotherapy Versus Concurrent Chemoradiotherapy in Locally Advanced Cervical Cancer: A Randomized, Single‐Center, Phase II Trial of Early Tumor Regression and Pro‐Inflammatory Tumor Microenvironment Remodeling

open access: yesMedComm, Volume 7, Issue 7, July 2026.
Concurrent chemoradiotherapy plus immunotherapy (CICRT) promotes tumor microenvironment remodeling in locally advanced cervical cancer to enhance antitumor immunity. It reduces regulatory T cells and mitigates CD8+ T‐cell exhaustion while reprogramming macrophages toward a pro‐inflammatory phenotype. Furthermore, CICRT upregulates MHC‐II expression and
