Diversity in Foresight: a Practice of Selection of Innovation Ideas [PDF]
The paper investigates an experience of accounting a range of diverse viewpoints when dealing with major objectives of Foresight — priority-setting, networking and consensual vision-building. The relevant practice has a special meaning in contexts characterized by technological discontinuities and high uncertainties. The basic method in this case is the

The ubiquitin‐proteasome system and autophagy as guardians of the cellular proteome
This Perspective covers the three principles governing the crosstalk between the ubiquitin‐proteasome system and autophagy in cellular proteostasis: (1) a shared ubiquitin code routing substrates via shuttle factors or autophagy receptors; (2) spatial compartmentalization into phase‐separated degradation hubs and organelle‐specific modules (exemplified

Proteostasis and the gut microbiota play a key role in shaping host physiology. Microbiota‐derived metabolites, vitamins, and RNA modulate host proteostasis. Findings from model systems, including C. elegans, indicate microbes can either stabilize or disrupt host proteostasis.

From mice to humans—divergent strategies for intestinal homeostasis and regeneration
Recent advances such as organoid genome editing, xenotransplantation, imaging, and whole‐genome sequencing have enabled direct studies of human intestinal stem cells (ISCs). These studies reveal species‐specific features, including slower ISC proliferation, distinct injury responses, slower somatic mutation accumulation in humans, and an inverse ...

α‐Synuclein aggregation landscape from phase separation to neurotoxic intermediates
Alpha‐synuclein aggregation in Parkinson's disease involves a complex landscape of transient intermediates, including oligomers, fibrils and liquid–liquid phase separation (LLPS). A view is emerging in which LLPS maturation into solid‐like condensates may contribute to the formation of neurotoxic species.
