Attack of the clones: an investigation into removing redundant source code [PDF]
Long-term maintenance of code will often lead to the introduction of duplicated or 'cloned' code. Legacy systems riddled with these clones have large amounts of redundant code and are more difficult to understand and maintain.

Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

An optimal strongly identifying code in the infinite triangular grid [PDF]
Assume that G = (V, E) is an undirected graph, and C subset of V. For every v is an element of V, we denote by I(v) the set of all elements of C that are within distance one from v.

Identifying obfuscated code through graph-based semantic analysis of binary code
Protecting sensitive program content is a critical concern in various situations, ranging from legitimate use cases to unethical contexts. Obfuscation is one of the most used techniques to ensure such a protection.

On two variations of identifying codes
Identifying codes have been introduced in 1998 to model fault-detection in multiprocessor systems. In this paper, we introduce two variations of identifying codes: weak codes and light codes. They correspond to fault-detection by successive rounds. We give exact bounds for those two definitions for the family of cycles.

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

Identifying similar code fragments in Haskell [PDF]
Identifying syntactically or functionally similar code fragments in source code is an important research question in software engineering. Many researchers pointed out that detecting and refactoring code clones can be beneficial for software maintenance

Plasma membranes contain dynamic nanoscale domains that organize lipids and receptors. Because viruses operate at similar scales, this architecture shapes early infection steps, including attachment, receptor engagement, and entry. Using influenza A virus and HIV‐1 as examples, we highlight how receptor nanoclusters, multivalent glycan interactions ...

This study reveals that the small GTPase Rab14 is necessary for human papillomavirus (HPV) infection and plays an essential role in the transport of virions to the trans‐Golgi network (TGN). HPV in the early endosome (EE), which harbors GTP‐bound Rab14, is transported to the TGN through the switch of Rab14 from its GTP‐bound to GDP‐bound form.
