Promoting digital twin technology application for process industry: A novel generation modelling platform and its implementations

Digital Twins and Applications, Volume 1, Issue 1, Page 51-74, September 2024.
This paper presents novel generation modelling (NGM), a multi‐domain, multi‐time scale digital twin (DT) platform for the process industry with advanced capabilities. Based on NGM, a hybrid modelling approach combining first principles and process data is developed, and a multi‐scale model integration method is applied to integrate the DT system model.
