A person-centred consultation intervention to improve shared decision-making about, and uptake of, osteoporosis medicines (iFraP): a pragmatic, parallel-group, individual randomised controlled trial protocol [version 3; peer review: 3 approved, 1 approved with reservations] [PDF]
Background Good quality shared decision-making (SDM) conversations involve people with, or at risk of osteoporosis and clinicians collaborating to decide, where appropriate, which evidence-based medicines best fit the person’s life, beliefs, and values ...

Chaperones for dancing on chromatin: Role of post-translational modifications in dynamic damage detection hand-offs during nucleotide excision repair. [PDF]
UV‐DDB (only DDB2 shown) initiates global‐genome nucleotide excision repair by recognizing photoproducts in chromatin. If UV‐DDB lingers too long at damage sites, as part of DDB1‐CUL4A‐RBX E3 ligase, UV‐DDB ubiquitylates itself on Lys residues enabling VCP to dissociate it and allow XPC and TFIIH to bind to the lesion.
