Establishment and biological characterization of radioresistant colorectal cancer cell lines

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Under ionizing radiation exposure, radiation‐sensitive cancer cells exhibit oxidative stress and DNA damage, while radiation‐resistant cancer cells exhibit strong antioxidant properties and DNA damage repair. Radiotherapy resistance is a major cause of recurrence and metastasis in colorectal cancer (CRC).

IgG,kappa monoclonal gammopathy of unknown significance with AL amyloidosis simulating giant cell arteritis

open access: yesRomanian Journal of Internal Medicine, 2017
Monoclonal gammopathies complicated by AL amyloidosis can mimic giant cell arteritis (GCA). We hereby present the case of a 63 year old woman in whom symptoms consistent with GCA were the first manifestations of a monoclonal gammopathy of unknown ...

Specificity and affinity of human Fcgamma receptors and their polymorphic variants for human IgG subclasses.

open access: yesBlood, 2009
Distinct genes encode 6 human receptors for IgG (hFcgammaRs), 3 of which have 2 or 3 polymorphic variants. The specificity and affinity of individual hFcgammaRs for the 4 human IgG subclasses is unknown.

An enzyme‐linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA)‐based activity assay for AMP‐activated protein kinase (AMPK)

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Measuring AMP‐activated protein kinase (AMPK) activity in vitro is crucial for testing AMPK activators or inhibitors with therapeutic potential. Here, we report an enzyme‐linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA)‐based AMPK activity assay with simple steps and high sensitivity, which offers a simple, robust, and cost‐effective alternative to traditional ...

Evolution of the IGG concept at IGF from 2004 to 2007 [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2011
IGG is the acronym for Impulse Gravity Generator, a device developed by E. Podkletnov in 1997-2003 for generating high-voltage discharges through YBCO electrodes. According to Podkletnov, an anomalous force beam is generated at the discharge, which acts on distant material target of any composition with a small repulsive force proportional to the ...

Analysis of Pre-existing IgG and IgM Antibodies against Polyethylene Glycol (PEG) in the General Population.

open access: yesAnalytical Chemistry, 2016
Circulating antibodies (Ab) that specifically bind polyethylene glycol (PEG), a biocompatible polymer routinely used in protein and nanoparticle therapeutics, have been associated with reduced efficacy of and/or adverse reactions to therapeutics modified

Comparative single‐cell transcriptomic profiling of patient‐derived renal carcinoma cells in cellular and animal models of kidney cancer

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
We generated and characterized clear cell renal cell carcinoma models using the patient‐derived RCC243 cell line—including cell culture, orthotopic, and metastatic tumors—via single‐cell RNA‐sequencing for comparisons between models and patient tumor datasets.

IGG: Image Generation Informed by Geodesic Dynamics in Deformation Spaces [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv
Generative models have recently gained increasing attention in image generation and editing tasks. However, they often lack a direct connection to object geometry, which is crucial in sensitive domains such as computational anatomy, biology, and robotics.
