IgG/IgA pemphigus has recently been described in the literature as an overlap of pemphigus vulgaris or pemphigus foliaceus with IgA pemphigus. There has also been some postulation that this IgG/IgA pemphigus may be associated with internal malignancy as well.

IgG-Anti-IgG Antibodies in Juvenile Chronic Arthritis
Scandinavian Journal of Rheumatology, 1985IgG antiglobulins were measured in 117 children with seronegative juvenile chronic arthritis (JCA). 100 had active disease, and these had significantly higher levels of IgG antiglobulins (mean 0.45 +/- 0.16 micrograms/ml) than the control group (mean 0.25 +/- 0.16 micrograms/ml (p less than 0.01]. The inactive group of patients had a mean of 0.14 +/- 0.

Ultrastructural Study of Human IgG and IgG-IgM Crystalcryoglobulins
American Journal of Clinical Pathology, 1979Thirty human cryoglobulin precipitates obtained from 21 patients were fixed and examined by electron microscopy; following biochemical isolation and identification. This study showed that the fine structure of cryoprecipitates depends on the involved immunoglobulins and on their respective quantities.

IgG subclasses have been recognized since the early 1960s. Four such subclasses, designated IgG1, IgG2, IgG3, and IgG4, are known to exist. Approximately 65 to 70% of the total circulating IgG in normal persons is of the IgG1 subclass. IgG2 constitutes 20 to 25% of circulating IgG, and IgG3 and IgG4 each represent less than 10%.

Maleylation of bovine colostral IgG and human serum IgG
Immunochemistry, 1972Abstract Bovine colostral and human serum IgG were maleylated to different degrees to test for the reversibility of the maleylation reaction and the utility of this reaction in the study of the quaternary structure of immunoglobulins. The exhaustively maleylated IgG preparations were reduced-alkylated and the subunits were separated by gel filtration

Porcine IgG. Isolation of two igg-subclasses and anti-IgG class- and subclass-specific antibodies
Molecular Immunology, 1986To investigate the existence of two or more porcine IgG (PIgG) subclasses PIgG was isolated from whey and serum by precipitation with caprylic acid followed by ion-exchange chromatography. Fractions were purified by means of affinity chromatography resulting in the isolation of two products with partly different antigenic determinants.

Abstract Citraconic anhydride and ϵ-Amino hexanoic acid were reacted and ϵ,N-Citraconyl Aminocaproate (ENCTC) was prepared. The molar extinction coefficient of ENCTC at 280 nm = 116 M −1 , and at 241 nm = 7610 M −1 . These were used to determine the number of citraconyl groups covalently attached per mole of rabbit IgG. It was found that all free
