IgG Fc receptors.

Annual Review of Immunology, 2001
Since the description of the first mouse knockout for an IgG Fc receptor seven years ago, considerable progress has been made in defining the in vivo functions of these receptors in diverse biological systems.

The Antiinflammatory IgG

New England Journal of Medicine, 2008
A post-translationally modified portion of IgG seems to be the critical agent that mediates the antiinflammatory effect of this molecule.

A latex test for the detection of human IgG aggregates and IgG anti-IgG antibody

Immunochemistry, 1972
Abstract Latex particles (0·2 μ Lytron, Monsanto) were used for the measurement of certain types of human IgG. At pH 8·4 agglutination of latex particles occurred in the presence of purified 7 S IgG anti-IgG antibody and also of a 13 s IgG aggregate isolated from the serum of a patient with polymyositis, polyarthritis and hyperviscosity syndrome.

Nonimmunospecific Protein-Protein Interactions of IgG: Studies of the Binding of IgG to IgG Immunoadsorbents

The Journal of Immunology, 1978
Abstract Nonimmunospecific interactions of IgG and IgG-agarose columns were systematically studied under varying conditions. Nonimmunospecific binding to the columns was primarily due to protein-protein interactions. These nonimmunospecific protein-protein interactions of IgG were enhanced with heat-induced or chemical aggregation of IgG,

IgG Subclass Deficiencies

Vox Sanguinis, 1986
Abstract. IgG subclasses differ not only in their biochemical and biologic properties, but also in their occurrence as selective deficiencies, alone and in combination. The normal range of IgG subclass concentrations in children and adults is compared with deficiencies found in individuals with repeated respiratory tract infections.

Ultrastructural Study of Human IgG and IgG-IgM Crystalcryoglobulins

American Journal of Clinical Pathology, 1979
Thirty human cryoglobulin precipitates obtained from 21 patients were fixed and examined by electron microscopy; following biochemical isolation and identification. This study showed that the fine structure of cryoprecipitates depends on the involved immunoglobulins and on their respective quantities.
