IgG does not seem the answer for the complete protection with which the young are blessed. They are not only seemingly protected against bacteria, but also viruses and fungi .

Molecular Immunology, 1986To investigate the existence of two or more porcine IgG (PIgG) subclasses PIgG was isolated from whey and serum by precipitation with caprylic acid followed by ion-exchange chromatography.
