A template of atmospheric O2 circularly polarized emission for CMB experiments
We compute the circularly polarized signal from atmospheric molecular oxygen. Polarization of O2 rotational lines is caused by Zeeman effect in the Earth magnetic field.

The International Geomagnetic Reference Field (IGRF) is a series of mathematical models of the main geomagnetic field and its secular variation. Each model consists of a set of spherical harmonic (or Gauss) coefficients, the g's and h's in a series expansion of the following geomagnetic potential.

We present the GFZ candidate field models for the $$13{\mathrm{th}}$$ 13 th Generation International Geomagnetic Reference Field (IGRF-13). These candidates were derived from the Mag.num.IGRF13 geomagnetic core field model, which is constrained by Swarm

Quasi‐Trapped Zebra Stripes: Radial Transport Driven by Dual‐Pulse Electric Fields
Abstract Energetic electron spectra in Earth's inner radiation belt often exhibit regular stripe‐like features, known as “zebra stripes,” which are typically attributed to the drift motion of stably‐trapped electrons disturbed by electric field perturbations.

Geomagnetism : review 2009 [PDF]
The Geomagnetism team measures, records, models and interprets variations in the Earth’s natural magnetic fields, across the world and over time. Our data and expertise help to develop scientific understanding of the evolution of the solid Earth and its ...

Numerical analysis of lognormal diffusions on the sphere
Numerical solutions of stationary diffusion equations on the unit sphere with isotropic lognormal diffusion coefficients are considered. H\"older regularity in $L^p$ sense for isotropic Gaussian random fields is obtained and related to the regularity of ...

Sedimentary Iron Cycling and the Origin and Preservation of Magnetization in Platform Carbonate Muds, Andros Island, Bahamas [PDF]
Carbonate muds deposited on continental shelves are abundant and well-preserved throughout the geologic record because shelf strata are difficult to subduct and peritidal carbonate units often form thick, rheologically strong units that resist ...

A Bayesian Approach to F‐Region Mesoscale Flow Estimation With EISCAT_3D
Abstract The ionospheric electric field is a key parameter for understanding ionospheric electrodynamics and the magnetosphere–ionosphere coupling. Several methods have been developed to reconstruct the two‐dimensional distribution of the ionospheric electric field from line‐of‐sight (LOS) ion velocities observed by incoherent scatter radars ...
