Feasibility and Tumor Dynamics of Daily MRI‐Guided Online Adaptive Radiotherapy for Brain Glioma

open access: yesCNS Neuroscience &Therapeutics, Volume 32, Issue 4, April 2026.
The apparent tumor dynamics were observed during chemoRT in patients with brain glioma. MRIgOART not only corrected daily anatomical variations but also enabled real‐time assessment of treatment response, thereby facilitating dynamic optimization of concomitant therapy protocols.

The more IGRT systems, the merrier?

open access: yesJournal of Applied Clinical Medical Physics, 2017
The field of radiotherapy (RT) has benefited substantially from advancements in Image‐Guided Radiotherapy (IGRT) in the past 15 years. IGRT now constitutes the integration of a wide range of imaging technology with modern RT delivery systems that include 3D anatomical and functional‐based imaging for tumor volume identification, 3D target volume ...

The Efficacy of Hydrogel Dressings in Management and Prevention of Radiation Dermatitis: A Comparative Review

open access: yesJournal of Biomedical Materials Research Part B: Applied Biomaterials, Volume 114, Issue 4, April 2026.
ABSTRACT Radiation dermatitis (RD) is one of the most common adverse effects of radiotherapy and significantly impacts patient comfort, quality of life, and treatment adherence. Effective supportive care strategies are therefore essential to preserve skin integrity and prevent treatment interruption.

The Impact of Immunoglobulin Replacement Therapy on Antibiotic Need in Adult Patients with Inborn Errors of Immunity

open access: yesHaseki Tıp Bülteni
Aim: Patients with inborn errors of immunity (IEI) have a higher frequency of infections and long-term antibiotic usage. We aimed to assess the effects of immunoglobulin replacement therapy (IgRT) on infection rates, antibiotic usage, and treatment ...

Streamlining Paediatric Palliative Radiotherapy: A Case Study on Reducing Procedural Burden and Avoiding General Anaesthesia Using a Simulation‐Free Radiotherapy (SF‐RT) Protocol

open access: yesJournal of Medical Radiation Sciences, Volume 73, Issue S2, Page S117-S123, April 2026.
This paper presents two cases of young children who were treated with simulation‐free radiotherapy. We demonstrate that this workflow is feasible in children requiring palliative radiotherapy with the potential to expedite treatment, reduce procedural burden on the child and their family, and eliminate a general anaesthetic procedure.

Enable preclinical, high‐precision image‐guided radiotherapy research with a stand‐alone small animal IGRT system

open access: yesMedical Physics, Volume 53, Issue 4, April 2026.
Abstract Background Many preclinical studies involving novel particle radiotherapy techniques have been conducted without precise image guidance due to the lack of an image‐guided small animal radiotherapy research platform for them, such as ultra‐high dose rate radiation (UHDR), mini‐beam, and grid therapy.

Consideration of image guidance in patterns of failure analyses of intensity-modulated radiotherapy for head and neck cancer: a systematic review

open access: yesRadiation Oncology
Background Intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) is considered standard of care for head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC). Improved conformity of IMRT and smaller margins, however, have led to concerns of increased rates of marginal ...
