New fragile authentication watermark for images

Proceedings 2000 International Conference on Image Processing (Cat. No.00CH37101), 2002
We propose a new fragile watermark for image authentication. Based on the Yeung-Mintzer (see Proc. ICIP'97, Santa Barbara, California, 1997) scheme, the new watermark does not have certain security gaps common to many previously proposed fragile watermarks. A block cipher is used instead of binary look-up tables.

A New Image Content-Based Authenticity Verification Procedure for Wireless Image Authentication Scheme

2010
In this paper, we proposed a new image content-based authenticity verification procedure for wireless image authentication scheme. The existing image content-based authentication procedure for wireless image authentication scheme has the following shortcomings: 1) High computational cost and 2) Low performance.

Digital image authentication from thumbnails

SPIE Proceedings, 2010
We describe how to exploit the formation and storage of an embedded image thumbnail for image authentication. The creation of a thumbnail is modeled with a series of filtering operations, contrast adjustment, and compression. We automatically estimate these model parameters and show that these parameters differ significantly between camera ...

IMAGE AUTHENTICATION BASED ON FRACTAL FEATURES

Fractals, 2008
In this paper, the fractal features of natural images are used to construct an image authentication scheme, which can detect whether an image is maliciously tampered (cutting, wiping, modification, etc.) or not and can even locate the tampered regions.

Fragile Watermarking Scheme for Image Authentication

2012 5th International Conference on Human System Interactions, 2012
In this paper, we propose a fragile watermarking scheme in wavelet domain which is sensitive to all kinds of modifications and has the ability to localize the tampered regions. The proposed scheme is a key-dependent, content based and non-deterministic neighborhood-dependent method so that it can resist the well-known attacks including the ...

On (In)security of “A Robust Image Authentication Method”

2002
Image authentication is a challenging area of growing importance. Although a number of image authentication systems have been proposed in recent years but less attention has been paid to their evaluation. In this paper we analyze the JPEG compression tolerant image authentication scheme SARI [1], and show a number of ways of constructing fraudulent ...

Flexible authentication of images.

2003
In this paper, we propose a novel authentication method for digital images that achieves fine authenticating granularity (e.g., block-level granularity). Its appealing flexibility lies in the fact that with only one piece of authenticating data (e.g., digital signature or message authentication code) spanning all blocks, each block can be independently

Digital Watermarking for Image Content Authentication

2008
