We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

Structural biology of ferritin nanocages
Ferritin is a conserved iron‐storage protein that sequesters iron as a ferric mineral core within a nanocage, protecting cells from oxidative damage and maintaining iron homeostasis. This review discusses ferritin biology, structure, and function, and highlights recent cryo‐EM studies revealing mechanisms of ferritinophagy, cellular iron uptake, and ...

Image Arbitrary Style Transfer via Artistic Aesthetic Enhancement [PDF]
Current research has shown remarkable success in universal style transfer, which can transfer arbitrary visual styles to content images. However,in the evaluation dimension of arbitrary style transfer of images,it is not comprehensive to only consi-der the

Fine-Grained Image Style Transfer with Visual Transformers
With the development of the convolutional neural network, image style transfer has drawn increasing attention. However, most existing approaches adopt a global feature transformation to transfer style patterns into content images (e.g., AdaIN and WCT). Such a design usually destroys the spatial information of the input images and fails to transfer fine-

We identified a systemic, progressive loss of protein S‐glutathionylation—detected by nonreducing western blotting—alongside dysregulation of glutathione‐cycle enzymes in both neuronal and peripheral tissues of Taiwanese SMA mice. These alterations were partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotide therapy, revealing persistent redox imbalance as ...

Diffusion Model-Based Cartoon Style Transfer for Real-World 3D Scenes
Traditional map style transfer methods are mostly based on GAN, which are either overly artistic at the expense of conveying information, or insufficiently aesthetic by simply changing the color scheme of the map image.

β‐TrCP overexpression enhances cisplatin sensitivity by depleting BRCA1
Low levels of β‐TrCP (Panel A) allow the accumulation of BRCA1 and CtIP, which facilitate the repair of cisplatin‐induced DNA damage via homologous recombination (HR) and promote tumor cell survival. In contrast, high β‐TrCP expression (Panel B) leads to BRCA1 and CtIP degradation, impairing HR repair, resulting in persistent DNA damage and apoptosis ...

Application of Style Transfer Algorithm in the Personalized Design of Footwear Patterns
Limitations are found in the personalization of patterns in traditional footwear design, and there is a lack of stylized adjustment scheme for generating new texture patterns.

AZD9291 has shown promise in targeted cancer therapy but is limited by resistance. In this study, we employed metabolic labeling and LC–MS/MS to profile time‐resolved nascent protein perturbations, allowing dynamic tracking of drug‐responsive proteins. We demonstrated that increased NNMT expression is associated with drug resistance, highlighting NNMT ...
