Multichannel watermarking of color images
IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems for Video Technology, 2002In the field of image watermarking, research has been mainly focused on grayscale image watermarking, whereas the extension to the color case is usually accomplished by marking the image luminance, or by processing each color channel separately. A DCT domain watermarking technique expressly designed to exploit the peculiarities of color images is ...

Audio Watermarking with Multiple Images as Watermarks
IETE Journal of Education, 2020Nowadays, the security of information has become a burning question. Digital watermarking can be very efficient in providing security of a signal being sent. In this paper, a digital watermarking technique for ensuring security to an audio signal is presented.

Cocktail Watermarking on Images
2000A novel image protection scheme named “cocktail watermarking” improves over current spread-spectrum watermarking approaches. Two watermarks, which play complementary roles, are simultaneously embedded into an original image. The new watermarking scheme has the characteristic that, no matter what an attack is, at least one watermark typically survives ...

An image watermarking technique using hybrid signals as watermarks
Multimedia Systems, 2020In digital communication, it is very necessary to prevent the unlawful intrusion of unwanted parties. Apart from that, the authenticity of a signal being sent is a key factor otherwise false data can break the commitment between the sender and the receiver of the signal. By digital watermarking, both the insurance of the authenticity and the prevention

This chapter describes image watermarking, the most common and widespread category of media files are images. The evolution of the Internet and the ease by which images can be duplicated and distributed has led to the need for effective copyright protection tools and techniques in order to provide a secure way to the producers and the owners of these ...

Adaptive Watermarking Algorithm for Binary Image Watermarks
2004This paper proposes an adaptive watermarking algorithm, in which the watermark is a binary image such as a logotype related directly to the image owner. Obviously the information amount of this type of watermark is much larger than the amount of a pseudorandom pattern generated by secret key.

From single watermark to dual watermark: A new approach for image watermarking
Computers & Electrical Engineering, 2012Watermarking as a powerful technique for copyright protection, content verification, covert communication and so on, has been studied for years, and is drawing more and more attention recently. There are many situations in which embedding multiple watermarks in an image is desired.

Using invisible watermarks to protect visibly watermarked images
2004 IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems (IEEE Cat. No.04CH37512), 2004Physical visible watermarks have been widely used for centuries. Now digital visible watermarks such as electronic logos find their applications in digital library, video broadcasting, and other multimedia services. Several visible watermarking techniques have been proposed in the literature, and meanwhile, some problems with visible watermarks are ...

A novel fractal image watermarking
IEEE Transactions on Multimedia, 2006A novel watermarking method is proposed to hide a binary watermark into image files compressed by fractal block coding. This watermarking method utilizes a special type of orthogonalization fractal coding method where the fractal affine transform is determined by the range block mean and contrast scaling.

Image watermarking with better resilience
Proceedings 2000 International Conference on Image Processing (Cat. No.00CH37101), 2002We present schemes for hardening image watermarks against adversarial jamming. Our techniques improve upon standard correlation- and spread spectrum-based methods, and withstand various image distortions and attacks intended to render watermarks unreadable. The watermarking schemes we propose explicitly locate and amplify watermark data remaining after
