Color image-adaptive watermarking

2002 14th International Conference on Digital Signal Processing Proceedings. DSP 2002 (Cat. No.02TH8628), 2003
A novel scheme for the watermarking of colour images is presented in this communication. The first objective is to find the most suitable alternative to RGB color space, which is highly correlated. Colour spaces with linear relation to RGB colour space with uncorrelated components are found to be most suitable for watermarking applications.

Color Image Watermarking with Watermark Hashing

2019
Color images are extensively used, published, and exchanged through internet. The need to establish ownership of digital images has resulted in the development of many image watermarking techniques. Many of these techniques are based on Singular Value Decomposition (SVD) of images.

A unique watermark for every image

IEEE Multimedia, 2001
We address image security issues by proposing a scheme for watermarking images or video at the camera. Each watermark is unique and identifies the owner, camera, and frame number. Application areas include the security industry (for proof of tampering) and commercial photography (for copyright protection).

Adaptive visible watermarking of images

Proceedings IEEE International Conference on Multimedia Computing and Systems, 2003
Digital watermarks are emerging as a tool to provide copyright protection for high quality images and video. Though a lot of work has been done in the area of invisible watermarks, relatively less earlier work exists for visible watermarks. As a consensus on the various issues for invisible watermarks to be legally admissible eludes us, a visible ...

Geometric moment in image watermarking

Proceedings of the 2003 International Symposium on Circuits and Systems, 2003. ISCAS '03., 2003
Digital image watermarking has become a popular technique for authentication and copyright protection. However, many proposed image watermarking techniques are sensitive to geometric distortions, such as rotation and scaling. Rotation and scaling, even by slight amount, can make the decoder disabled unless the corrupted image can be rescaled and ...

An Invisible Text Watermarking Algorithm using Image Watermark

2010
Copyright protection of digital contents is very necessary in today’s digital world with efficient communication mediums as internet. Text is the dominant part of the internet contents and there are very limited techniques available for text protection.

Permuted Image DCT Watermarking

2010
This paper presents a novel watermarking technique for digital images using Pseudo Random(PN) Sequence. The host image is permuted by PN Sequence. The watermark is embedded into the mid band DCT coefficients of the image. The image is re-permuted using the same PN sequence to obtain the watermarked image. To ensure security, a PN sequence has been used

Watermarking in secure image retrieval

Pattern Recognition Letters, 2003
Summary: This letter proposes a novel security mechanism for the traditional content-based image retrieval. A watermark-based algorithm is developed as a prototype for hierarchical queries with different authorization on a large image collection.
