Multichannel watermarking of color images

IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems for Video Technology, 2002
In the field of image watermarking, research has been mainly focused on grayscale image watermarking, whereas the extension to the color case is usually accomplished by marking the image luminance, or by processing each color channel separately. A DCT domain watermarking technique expressly designed to exploit the peculiarities of color images is ...

Using invisible watermarks to protect visibly watermarked images

2004 IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems (IEEE Cat. No.04CH37512), 2004
Physical visible watermarks have been widely used for centuries. Now digital visible watermarks such as electronic logos find their applications in digital library, video broadcasting, and other multimedia services. Several visible watermarking techniques have been proposed in the literature, and meanwhile, some problems with visible watermarks are ...

Watermarking in secure image retrieval

Pattern Recognition Letters, 2003
Summary: This letter proposes a novel security mechanism for the traditional content-based image retrieval. A watermark-based algorithm is developed as a prototype for hierarchical queries with different authorization on a large image collection.

WATERMARKED DIGITAL IMAGES

2002
A tamper detection method for digital images comprises providing a digitally watermarked image; digitally processing at least some watermarked parts of the image to obtain confidence values, and using the confidence values to provide an indication as to the likelihood that the image has been tampered with. A method of establishing the confidence values

Adaptive Watermarking Algorithm for Binary Image Watermarks

2004
This paper proposes an adaptive watermarking algorithm, in which the watermark is a binary image such as a logotype related directly to the image owner. Obviously the information amount of this type of watermark is much larger than the amount of a pseudorandom pattern generated by secret key.
