Heterodyne range imaging as an alternative to photogrammetry [PDF]
Solid-state full-field range imaging technology, capable of determining the distance to objects in a scene simultaneously for every pixel in an image, has recently achieved sub-millimeter distance measurement precision.

Three-dimensional Imaging of Atrial Myxoma [PDF]
A 36-year-old man was admitted for investigation of night sweats and increasing exertional dyspnea. On clinical examination, he was afebrile, with normal blood pressure, regular cardiac rhythm, and no signs of cardiac failure. Auscultation revealed a holosystolic murmur, a diastolic rumbling, and an early diastolic sound (“tumor plop”).

Urine is a rich source of biomarkers for cancer detection. Tumor‐derived material is released into the bloodstream and transported to the urine. Urine can easily be collected from individuals, allowing non‐invasive cancer detection. This review discusses the rationale behind urine‐based cancer detection and its potential for cancer diagnostics ...

Three-dimensional imaging of dislocation propagation during crystal growth and dissolution [PDF]
Atomic level defects such as dislocations play key roles in determining the macroscopic properties of crystalline materials 1,2. Their effects range from increased chemical reactivity 3,4 to enhanced mechanical properties 5,6.

Three-dimensional Imaging of Microstructure in Gold Nanocrystals [PDF]
X-ray diffraction using a coherent beam involves the mutual interference among all the extremities of small crystals. The continuous diffraction pattern so produced can be phased because it can be oversampled.

We quantified and cultured circulating tumor cells (CTCs) of 62 patients with various cancer types and generated CTC‐derived tumoroid models from two salivary gland cancer patients. Cellular liquid biopsy‐derived information enabled molecular genetic assessment of systemic disease heterogeneity and functional testing for therapy selection in both ...

Three‐dimensional imaging of upper esophageal sphincter resting pressure
Objective High‐resolution manometry (HRM) is used to analyze upper esophageal sphincter (UES) physiology. Conventional HRM can yield imprecise measurements of UES resting pressure given its unidirectional sensors and averaging of circumferential pressure.

Observational Approaches to the Topology of the Universe [PDF]
Many different and complementary strategies for translating the basic principle of multiple topological imaging into observational analysis are now available, both for three-dimensional and two-dimensional catalogues.Comment: very compact, (2 page) write-
