Chemotactic screening of imidazolinone-degrading bacteria by microfluidic SlipChip

Journal of Hazardous Materials, 2019
The group of imidazolinone herbicides, widely used for weed control, is hazardous to some sensitive rotational crops. Thus, rapid elimination of imidazolinones from contaminated soil is significant for the environment. Biodegradation studies have demonstrated the ability of chemotaxis to enhance the biodegradation of pollutants.

Imidazolinone herbicides: Synthesis and novel chemistry

Pesticide Science, 1990
AbstractThe imidazolinone herbicides were prepared from reaction of an α‐ methylvaline fragment with an o‐dicarboxylic acid. Early syntheses were completed through an imide amide intermediate, such as I or XV, followed by further cyclization to 2,5‐diones III or XXI. Reaction of these diones with nucleophiles led to imidazolinones IV and V.

Imidazolinon i sulfonilureja herbicidi

1991
Prikazane su fizikalno-kemijske i biološke karakteristike dviju relativno novih skupina herbicida: imidazolinona i sulfonilureje. Detaljno je prikazana povijest, sinteza, mehanizmi djelovanja, spektar djelovanja na korove, mehanizmi selektivnog učinka na kulture, stanje i registracija pojedinih predstavnika skupine u Hrvatskoj.

Synthesis of new 4-imidazolinone compounds

2014
Introduction Recent data shows that 4-imidazolinones possessing a variety of biological effects such as anticonvulsant, anesthetic, antiarrhythmic, antiepileptic [1]. It also has been a favorable scaffold for developing novel anticancer compounds [2-3]. There is no data about new 4-imidazolinone compounds that would have amino acids substituents at the
