Validation of on-slide immunocytochemistry controls prepared from long-term preserved prefixed cell suspensions. [PDF]
Abstract Background On‐slide controls are essential for quality assurance in immunocytochemistry, yet their use in non–cell block cytology preparations remains a significant challenge. This study presents and evaluates a novel method for preparing on‐slide controls from long‐term prefixed cell suspensions, applicable to all types of cytology ...

Diagnostic Utility of the ATG9A Ratio in AP‐4–Associated Hereditary Spastic Paraplegia
ABSTRACT Adaptor protein complex 4–associated hereditary spastic paraplegia (AP‐4‐HSP), a childhood‐onset neurogenetic disorder and frequent mimic of cerebral palsy, is caused by biallelic variants in the adaptor protein complex 4 (AP‐4) subunit genes (AP4B1 [for SPG47], AP4M1 [for SPG50], AP4E1 [for SPG51], and AP4S1 [for SPG52]).

Double Labeling Fluorescent Immunocytochemistry
Fluorescent immunocytochemistry is a powerful technique based on detecting antigens. It leads to discoveries in cell composition and structure as well as its functioning by expanding knowledge on colocalization between its components. The potency of this method is based on findings in the areas of specific antibodies production, fluorescent labels, and

Single-cell western blotting. [PDF]
To measure cell-to-cell variation in protein-mediated functions, we developed an approach to conduct ∼10(3) concurrent single-cell western blots (scWesterns) in ∼4 h.

A bimetallic Mn–Ca nanoreactor (MCC) is developed as a non‐nucleotide STING nanoagonist for cancer metalloimmunotherapy. MCC induces Ca2+ overload and hydroxyl radical generation, resulting in mitochondrial damage and mtDNA release. The released mtDNA cooperates with Mn2+ to robustly activate cGAS–STING signaling.

Antibody Selection for Cancer Target Validation of FSH-Receptor in Immunohistochemical Settings
Background: The follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH)-receptor (FSHR) has been reported to be an attractive target for antibody therapy in human cancer. However, divergent immunohistochemical (IHC) findings have been reported for FSHR expression in tumor ...

A transparent, laser‐microscribed glass platform enables cancer diagnosis within 1 h—much faster than histology, which takes days, and free from the chemical or contrast risks of MRI or CT scans. The antibody‐functionalized rough glass surface captures viable cancer cells directly from suspension, allowing instant optical readout and offering a rapid ...

The withdrawal of the iView detection system (iV) forced many cytopathology laboratories, including ours, to substitute immunocytochemical (ICC) staining protocols for routine practice with other detection systems. Our objective was to optimize, validate,
