Cloning of Size-Selected Human Immunoglobulin Heavy-Chain Rearrangements from Third Complementarity-Determining Region Fingerprint Profiles

open access: yesBioTechniques, 1996
Methods have been developed to rapidly visualize the size distribution of third complementarity-determining regions (CDR3) in immunoglobulin (Ig) and T-cell receptor (TCR) molecules.

A primitive plasma cell leukemia with immunoglobulin (Ig) E

open access: yesAnnales de Biologie Clinique, 2019
We report here a case of primitive plasma cell leukemia with immunoglobulin (Ig) E. IgE myeloma is an exceptional variant of multiple myeloma, with a very poor prognosis. Its biological diagnosis requires specific analyzes in order to detect IgE gammopathy. Plasma cell leukemia (PCL) is also a very rare and very severe form of multiple myeloma.

Comparative Effectiveness and Safety of Inebilizumab Versus Rituximab in AQP4‐IgG‐Positive NMOSD

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Rituximab (anti‐CD20, RTX) and inebilizumab (anti‐CD19, INE) represent B‐cell‐depleting therapies used for aquaporin‐4 antibody‐positive (AQP4‐IgG+) neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD); however, direct comparative evidence remains limited.

Recombinant human immunoglobulin (Ig)A1 and IgA2 anti‐D used for detection of IgA deficiency and anti‐IgA

open access: yes, 2008
To avoid anaphylactic reactions, immunoglobulin (Ig)A-deficient patients with anti-IgA should be transfused with IgA-deficient blood components. There is a need for fast and robust assays for demonstration of IgA deficiency and for detection of anti ...

Participation of immunoglobulin E (IgE) in immune-mediated glomerulonephritis

open access: yesKidney International, 1974
Participation of immunoglobulin E in immune-mediated glomerulonephritis. Renal biopsy specimens from 146 consecutive patients were studied by direct immunofluorescent tests for immunoglobulins G, M, A, D, E, third component of complement and fibrinogen; 46 of the patients had nephrotic syndrome.
