Potentiating the Efficacy of mRNA Vaccines through NIR‐II Imaging‐Guided Precise Vaccination

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A supramolecular strategy is utilized to integrate IR780‐C16 lipids into conventional LNPs, pioneering a novel NIR‐II‐LNPs platform that elucidates the correlations between mRNA vaccines efficacy and vaccination parameters in a non‐invasive approach.

Chronic Psychological Stress Induces Cardiomyocyte Hypertrophy Through Corticosterone‐Glucocorticoid Receptor‐LAMA5 Axis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In vivo experiments suggest that cardiomyocyte hypertrophy is an early manifestation of cardiac pathological changes induced by chronic psychological stress. In vivo and in vitro experiments suggest that the corticosterone‐glucocorticoid receptor‐LAMA5 axis mediates cardiomyocyte hypertrophy induced by chronic psychological stress. The clinical results

Nicotine Reprograms Aging‐Related Metabolism and Protects Against Motor Decline in Mice

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Long‐term oral nicotine intake protects against age‐related motor decline in mice without eliciting systemic toxicity. Integrated multi‐organ metabolomic profiling and longitudinal gut microbiota analyses reveal that nicotine induces coordinated remodeling of glycolipid and sphingolipid metabolism, enhances NAD⁺ bioavailability, and suppresses ceramide

Immunoglobulin M pemphigoid

Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, 2021
Pemphigoid diseases are a heterogeneous group of autoimmune blistering disorders characterized by predominant deposition of immunoglobulin G or immunoglobulin A autoantibodies against structural proteins of the dermoepidermal junction (DEJ). Sole linear immunoglobulin M (IgM) deposits at the DEJ in pemphigoid diseases have been observed; however, IgM ...

Structural insights into immunoglobulin M

Science, 2020
Hefty structures of IgA and IgM complexes Immunoglobulin M (IgM) and IgA are antibody isotypes that can form higher-order secretory complexes (sIgM and sIgA), which allows them to effectively bind and neutralize antigens with low-affinity repetitive epitopes, such as those found on the surface of many bacteria and viruses.

Human hybrid immunoglobulin M containing immunoglobulin A

In Vitro Cellular & Developmental Biology, 1988
Some hybridoma clones made by fusion of a human lymphoblastoid cell line, HO323 with human B lymphocytes, secreted not only IgA but also IgM-like immunoglobulin molecules. The IgM-like immunoglobulin had a molecular size of 900 K which corresponded to that of IgM. Immunochemical analyses revealed that the IgM-like immunoglobulin contained two monomeric

Immunoglobulin M mutants

European Journal of Immunology, 1980
AbstractMutants of a hybridoma line secreting IgM with anti‐trinitrophenyl specificity were enriched by coupling the hapten to the cell surface and incubating the cells in the presence of complement. In this way, cells secreting wild‐type Ig commit suicide, whereas cells secreting IgM with reduced lytic activity preferentially survive.
