Immunophenotypic, Genetic, and Clinical Features Associated With RUNX1 Mutation in Acute Leukemias and Chronic Myeloid Neoplasms. [PDF]

open access: yesInt J Lab Hematol
ABSTRACT Introduction RUNX1 is a commonly mutated transcriptional regulator of hematopoiesis in acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS). Mutated RUNX1 (mRUNX1) may associate with cross‐lineage immunophenotypic aberrancy, presenting potential complications for blast lineage assignment at diagnosis. Methods Clinical and laboratory

Generic membrane spanning features endow IRE1α with responsiveness to membrane aberrancy [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
Altered cellular lipid composition activates the endoplasmic reticulum unfolded protein response (UPR) and UPR signaling effects important changes in lipid metabolism.

Primary CNS T-cell Lymphomas: A Clinical, Morphologic, Immunophenotypic, and Molecular Analysis. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
Primary central nervous system (CNS) lymphomas are relatively rare with the most common subtype being diffuse large B-cell lymphoma. Primary CNS T-cell lymphomas (PCNSTL) account for 1 mutation, and none showed overlapping mutations.

Frequency and characteristics of progressive aberrancy during supraventricular tachycardia

open access: yes, 2003
Progressive aberrancy (defined as beats with QRS duration and morphology between that of sinus rhythm and full aberrancy) occurred in 10 of 32 episodes of atrial pacing in 5 of 11 patients.

Reversing Macrophage Immunometabolic Dysfunction in Prolonged Infections Via a Glutaminolysis‐Fueled Restoration‐Based Hierarchically Selective Therapeutic System

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A hierarchically selective immunotherapeutic nanoplatform, mGls@HEV‐MTP, selectively restores macrophage immunocompetence through GLS1‐mediated restoration of glutaminolysis‐fueled anaplerosis. Concurrently, it renders Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus) more readily recognizable to the metabolically reprogrammed macrophages, thereby facilitating ...

CD86‐Positive Mature Tertiary Lymphoid Structures Are Associated With CD8+ T‐Cell Infiltration and Favorable Clinical Outcomes in Pancreatic Ductal Adenocarcinoma

open access: yesAnnals of Gastroenterological Surgery, EarlyView.
CD86‐positive mature tertiary lymphoid structures were associated with increased intratumoral CD8+ T‐cell infiltration, a higher proportion of Granzyme B‐expressing CD8+ T cells in an exploratory analysis, and favorable clinical outcomes in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma.
