Optimal Age-Policy with Imperfect Preventive Maintenance
We study the optimal age policy with imperfect preventive maintenance. The preventive maintenance is imperfect in the sense that it can cause failure of a non-failed system ...

Optimal Maintenance Policy with Imperfect Preventive Maintenance
This paper considers a maintenance policy with imperfect preventive maintenance (pm). After pm, the failure characteristic of the system is different (worse) from that of correctively maintained system (viz. after a failure). Optimal policy which minimizes the mean cost-rate is discussed.

Optimal maintenance time for imperfect maintenance actions on repairable product [PDF]
This paper develops a maintenance strategy for repairable products that combines imperfect maintenance actions at pre-scheduled times and minimal repair actions for failures. Under a power law process of failures, an expected total cost is developed that involves the sum of the total cost of imperfect preventive maintenances and the expected total cost

Optimum policies for a system with general imperfect maintenance
Reliability Engineering and System Safety, 2006This study considers periodic preventive maintenance policies, which maximizes the availability of a repairable system with major repair at failure. Three types of preventive maintenance are performed, namely: imperfect preventive maintenance (IPM), perfect preventive maintenance (PPM) and failed preventive maintenance (FPM).

Condition-Based Maintenance with both Perfect and Imperfect Maintenance Actions
This paper deals with a condition-based maintenance (CBM) model considering both perfect and imperfect maintenance actions for a deteriorating system whose condition is aperiod- ically monitored according to a remaining useful life (RUL) based-inspection policy.
