Evaluation of Failure Rate for Cortical Dental Implants Placed in the Mandibular Anterior Region: A Systematic Review [PDF]
Introduction: To enhance the success of dental implants, it is crucial to understand the factors contributing to implant failure. Practitioners should carefully evaluate the relevance and impact of critical risk factors associated with the mandibular ...

YIPFα1A expression is regulated by multilayered molecular mechanisms
YIPFα1A, a five‐pass Golgi protein, is regulated at multiple layers. (1) Rare‐codon enrichment drives translation‐coupled mRNA decay. (2) A proximal 3′‐UTR element stabilizes mRNA. (3) A distal 3′‐UTR element included by alternate poly(A) site usage represses translation, which can be overridden by the proximal 3′‐UTR element.

Early‐life exposure to a high‐fat diet altered intact Achilles tendons in rat offspring, making them thinner, stiffer, and molecularly distinct even without injury. These findings suggest that developmental high‐fat diet exposure may impair tendon quality and increase susceptibility to mechanical overload or tendon injury later in life.

What Factors Are Associated With Implant Failure?
Purpose: Recognition of patient-specific risk factors should reduce implant failure. The purpose of this study was to identify risk factors associated with implant failure and to determine if these factors differ over time after implant placement ...

Evaluating the effect of γ‐oryzanol on MASLD pathology using a medaka fish model
This study explores a liver disease called MASLD, which is increasing worldwide and can lead to serious damage. Researchers used medaka fish instead of rodents to test a food compound, γ‐oryzanol. Fish fed this compound had less liver fat and healthier gut bacteria.

Early dental implant failure in patient associated with oral bisphosphonates
Oral bisphosphonates are routinely prescribed to post menopausal women. These have shown to increase the risk of osteonecrosis. However, this action may be augmented by local factors.
