Application of an antiracism lens in the field of implementation science (IS): Recommendations for reframing implementation research with a focus on justice and racial equity

open access: yesImplementation Research and Practice, 2021
Background Despite the promise of implementation science (IS) to reduce health inequities, critical gaps and opportunities remain in the field to promote health equity. Prioritizing racial equity and antiracism approaches is critical in these efforts, so

Implementing Science Theater

open access: yesOpen Schools Journal for Open Science, 2020
Since 2006, we were implementing a numerous of educational projects on teaching Science - i.e experiments with low-cost materials, developing and using online scenarios, integrating embodied outdoor activities in our physics lesson and engaging the whole school in Interdisciplinary Astronomy Activities.

Computer Science [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal on Advanced Science Engineering Information Technology, 12(3), 2022, 2022
Possible for science itself, conceptually, to have and will understand differently, let alone science also seen as technology, such as computer science. After all, science and technology are viewpoints diverse by either individual, community, or social. Generally, it depends on socioeconomic capabilities.

A computer verified, monadic, functional implementation of the integral [PDF]

open access: yesTheoretical Computer Science, Volume 411, Issue 37, 7 August 2010, Pages 3386-3402, 2008
We provide a computer verified exact monadic functional implementation of the Riemann integral in type theory. Together with previous work by O'Connor, this may be seen as the beginning of the realization of Bishop's vision to use constructive mathematics as a programming language for exact analysis.

Quantum Implementation of Parrondo's Paradox [PDF]

open access: yesFluctuation and Noise Letters, Vol. 5, No. 4 (2005), 2005
We propose a quantum implementation of a capital-dependent Parrondo's paradox that uses $O(\log_2(n))$ qubits, where $n$ is the number of Parrondo games. We present its implementation in the quantum computer language (QCL) and show simulation results.

Navigating the field of implementation science towards maturity: challenges and opportunities

open access: yesImplementation science : IS
Background The field of implementation science has significantly expanded in size and scope over the past two decades, although work related to understanding implementation processes have of course long preceded the more systematic efforts to improve ...

Token-passing Optimal Reduction with Embedded Read-back [PDF]

open access: yesEPTCS 225, 2016, pp. 45-54, 2016
We introduce a new interaction net implementation of optimal reduction for the pure untyped lambda calculus. Unlike others, our implementation allows to reach normal form regardless of the interaction net reduction strategy using the approach of so-called token-passing nets and a non-deterministic extension for interaction nets.
