EXPERIMENTAL STUDY ON THE IMPRESSION ABILITY OF SOME ELASTOMER IMPRESSION MATERIALS

open access: yes, 1986
AN EXPERIMENTAL STUDY HAS BEEN MADE CONCERNING THE IMPRESSION ABILITY AND THE MODIFICATION OF ACCURACY 40 DAYS AFTER THE TAKEN IMPRESSION. THE MODIFICATION OF THE IMPRESSION SURFACE ROUGHNESS IN CORRELATION WITH THE TIME HAS ALSO BEEN RESEARCHED. FOR

PARK(ing) time–How park deficiency affects the biological clock in a Drosophila model of Parkinson's disease

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Drosophila park mutants serve as a model for Parkinson's disease. We used this strain to investigate the connection between oxidative stress and the circadian clock mechanism. We showed that increased oxidative stress affects the physiology of pacemaker cells, disrupting their daily structural plasticity. Lack of rhythmic signaling from pacemaker cells

Effect of retention features in custom trays on dimensional accuracy of master casts made from alginate impressions

open access: yesمجله دانشکده دندانپزشکی اصفهان, 2012
Introduction: Complete adhesion of the impression materials to trays is important to prevent impression materials from being pulled away from trays during removed from the mouth and to ensure that the direction of polymerization shrinkage will be towards

Structural insights and therapeutic targets in Acinetobacter baumannii capsule biosynthesis

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Hypervirulent KL49 A. baumannii's capsular polysaccharide contains the nonulosonic acid 8‐epi‐Leg5,7Ac2, synthesized by epimerization via ElaA, ElaB, and ElaC. Crystal structures of ElaA, ElaB, and ElaC reveal their role in CMP‐Leg5,7Ac2 synthesis and regioselective C8 epimerization.

Impression materials and procedures in fixed prosthodontics

open access: yes, 2021

Use of Irreversible Hydrocolloid to Blockout Interproximal Spaces for an Easy Impression Taking

open access: yesFrontiers in Dentistry, 2009
Making impression to obtain an accurate working cast needs to use accurate impression materials such as polyether. On the other hand, polyether cannot be used easily in places with undercut such as excessive interproximal spaces and under the pontics of ...

TRAIL‐PEG‐Apt‐PLGA nanosystem as an aptamer‐targeted drug delivery system potential for triple‐negative breast cancer therapy using in vivo mouse model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

Linear Dimensional Changes in Elastic Impression Materials

open access: yes, 1980
Four classes of elastomeric impression materials (polysulfide, polyether, silicone, and agar-agar) were evaluated on the basis of linear dimensional stability as a function of time between taking and pouring an impression of mounted teeth.

Circular RNA expression landscapes in myelodysplastic neoplasms: Associations with mutational signatures and disease progression

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In this explorative study, the abundance of circular RNA molecules in bone marrow stem cells was found to be elevated in patients with high‐risk myelodysplastic neoplasms, and to be associated with an increased risk of progression to acute myeloid leukemia.
