Bermudagrass Production in Florida
The improved hybrid bermudagrasses (Cynodon dactylon L.) are used for both hay and grazing. Coastal was the first hybrid bermudagrass developed at the Coastal Plain Experiment Station in Tifton, Georgia, and was released in 1943.
