Horizontal and vertical relations: Interrogating "in/dividualism" among Christian Bidayuhs [PDF]
This article addresses aspects of the dividual/individualist debate by thinking through an analogous set of ideas and practices among the Bidayuh, an indigenous group of Malaysian Borneo.

Machine stability and dosimetry for ultra‐high dose rate FLASH radiotherapy human clinical protocol
Abstract Background The FLASH effect, induced by ultra‐high dose rate (UHDR) irradiations, offers the potential to spare normal tissue while effectively treating tumors. It is important to achieve precise and accurate dose delivery and to establish reliable detector systems, particularly for clinical trials needed to help the clinical transfer of FLASH‐

Stability of positive delay systems with delayed impulses
This study investigates the global exponential stability of positive delay systems with delayed impulses. By using linear copositive Lyapunov functions together with Razumikhin techniques, a number of criteria for global exponential stability of positive

Impulse distributions in dense granular flows: signatures of large-scale spatial structures
In this paper we report the results of simulations of a 2D gravity driven, dissipative granular flow through a hopper system. Measurements of impulse distributions P(I) on the simulated system show flow-velocity-invariant behavior of the distribution for

Use Impulse Response Sequences in the Construction of Number Sequence Identities [PDF]
We define impulse response sequence in the set of all linear recurring sequences satisfying a linear recurrence relation of order $r$. The generating function and expression of the impulse response sequence are presented. Some identities of impulse response sequences including a type of nonlinear expressions are established.

Abstract Background The aim of this study was to thoroughly analyze the reproducibility of radiomics feature extraction across three Image Biomarker Standardization Initiative (IBSI)‐compliant platforms using a digital phantom for benchmarking. It uncovers high consistency among common features while also pointing out the necessity for standardization ...

UDP‐glucose dehydrogenase variants cause dystroglycanopathy
Abstract UDP‐glucose dehydrogenase (UGDH) variants have been associated with hypotonia, developmental delay, and epilepsy. We report the first pathologic evidence of dystroglycanopathy in siblings with UGDH variants. Both presented around 6 months with developmental delay and elevated creatinine kinase.

On abstract differential equations with non instantaneous impulses
We introduce a class of abstract differential equation with non instantaneous impulses which extend and generalize some recent models considered in the literature.

Optimal Control of Volterra Equations with Impulses [PDF]
We consider an optimal control problem for a system governed by a Volterra integral equation with impulsive terms. The impulses act on both the state and the control; the control consists of switchings at discrete times. The cost functional includes both, an integrated cost rate (continuous part) and switching costs at the discrete impulse times ...

Correspondence of MRI and nTMS With EDSS in Multiple Sclerosis: Longitudinal Follow‐Up Study
ABSTRACT Objectives Considering the characteristics of multiple sclerosis (MS) disease and its impact on motor disability, this study aims to assess the functional integrity of the corticospinal tract by examining motor evoked potentials (MEPs), Expanded Disability Status Scale (EDSS) scores, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) lesion counts, and ...
