Lorentzian Iterative Hard Thresholding: Robust Compressed Sensing with Prior Information
Commonly employed reconstruction algorithms in compressed sensing (CS) use the $L_2$ norm as the metric for the residual error. However, it is well-known that least squares (LS) based estimators are highly sensitive to outliers present in the measurement

Abstract Background Differences in Frontal Alpha Asymmetry (FAA), derived from the electroencephalogram (EEG), have been associated with approach‐withdrawal behavior, although inconsistently. The current study examined how early patterns of FAA during the first 2 years of life relate to various socioemotional characteristics (at 2 years) and ultimately

Abstract Background When receiving an attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) diagnosis, children and families/carers need clear and accurate information about the condition in a suitable format. However, many of the available resources are complex or provide content that is not evidence‐based.

Comparison of measured and calculated helicopter rotor impulsive noise [PDF]
The thickness noise theory is discussed. Two full-scale rotors were tested in a wind tunnel with several tips involving changes in chord, thickness, and sweep. Impulsive noise data reduction procedures used are described.

Aeroacoustics of a coaxial rotor in level flight [PDF]
The aeroacoustic characteristics of a coaxial system with teetering rotors in level forward °ight are com- pared to those of an equivalent articulated single rotor with the same solidity.

Abstract Background Irritability affects one‐third of children and adolescents with attention‐deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and is associated with negative outcomes. The family environment plays a prominent role in the child's development, and therefore on the risk for irritability, especially during the preschool period.

Distribution based definition of impulse noise [PDF]
Existing definitions of impulse noise are based on estimates of either the decay of the noise envelope, the repetition rate of the peaks, or a comparison of single peak level to rms level. Because each of these measures fails to fully characterize at least one of the relevant characteristics of an impulse, many exceptions to these classifications can ...
