Pressure overload suppresses cardiomyocyte ZER1, weakening CRL2Zer1‐mediated DVL2 degradation and allowing DVL2 accumulation. Elevated DVL2 activates CaMKII‐HDAC4‐MEF2C signaling, drives fetal gene reactivation, and promotes pathological remodeling.

In this work, an interfacial growth method using PVDF‐HFP enables controlled permeation of 2‐methylimidazole to react with Co2+, forming an ultrathin (420 nm) ZIF‐67 layer by precisely tuning the reaction time. This dense layer promotes lithium salt dissociation and suppresses dendrite growth, while its ultrathin nature reduces Li+ transport resistance,

This study presents a computational tunnel engineering strategy in Fe(II)/α‐ketoglutarate‐dependent dioxygenases (αKGDs) to enhance oxygen (O2) transport, an essential molecule for αKGDs, and limit hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) entry, an inhibitor from the αKG supply system.

Molecular and Cellular Hallmarks of Age‐Related Vestibular Hair Cell Degeneration
This study utilizes single‐cell RNA‐seq transcriptomes, advanced imaging, and electrophysiology to examine universal and cell‐type‐specific aging signatures of vestibular hair cells. The study shows that impaired hair bundle function is a key driver of age‐related vestibular dysfunction.

Multiscale perspectives on how excess charges in soft lead halide perovskites induce operational instability in photovoltaic devices are presented. Localized carriers formed under thermodynamic non‐equilibrium states modify atomistic interactions and drive lattice distortions, accelerating device degradation.

Quasi in situ: a bridge between ex situ and in situ conservation of plants
Biodiversity and Conservation, 2010Plant conservation urgently needs a concept that would unify different aspects of population viability as parts of conservation methodology. Such unification is especially lacking for ex situ conservation. We introduce a novel conservation approach in which ex situ collections maintained in natural or semi-natural environment and preserving both ...

In Situ, Ex Situ Conservation [PDF]
In situ and ex situ conservation focuses on the maintenance of species diversity within or away from their natural habitats, respectively. This article outlines why conservation is needed, the major threats to species, and how diversity is maintained at ...
