Dityrosine: In vitro production and characterization

1984
Publisher Summary This chapter describes two methods for the preparation of dityrosine by peroxidase oxidation of tyrosine and N -acetyltyrosine, respectively. Using tyrosine as starting material in the production of dityrosine by the means of the peroxidase–hydrogen peroxide system, the yield of dityrosine was relatively small, higher oxidation ...

[Interferon production in vitro].

Gan to kagaku ryoho. Cancer & chemotherapy, 1987
Interferon production in vitro was induced by poly I: C and PHA in leukocytes obtained from patients with cancer, benign diseases and control subjects. The interferon response per lymphocyte was relatively constant in all groups. However, interferon production was slightly inhibited in patients receiving cancer chemotherapy.

In vitro production of experimental caries

The Journal of the American Dental Association, 1955
The external portions of the erupted tooth are in relatively slow equilibrium with the general metabolic processes of the animal. As shown by the studies with radioactive tracers, this condition is par ticularly true for the enamel, the con stituents of which exchange readily with the saliva and only very indirectly with the blood.

Adjuvants and in Vitro Antibody Production

1973
Many recent data suggest that three cell types may be involved in antibody formation: a thymus-derived lymphocyte, a bone-marrow-derived lymphocyte, and probably a macrophage. In the classical hapten-protein systems it is obvious that two different specificities are involved, one, carrier-specific governed by the T-cells, and another, hapten-specific ...

Acid Production in Saliva in-Vitro Experiments

Journal of Dental Research, 1949
THIS paper deals with the formation of organic acids in the mouth and in in-vitro experiments as the result of sugar degradation and as indicated by pH changes. Freshly secreted saliva gathered by canalization of a duct and collected under oil has a pH close to that of blood.

[In vitro platelet production].

Transfusion clinique et biologique : journal de la Societe francaise de transfusion sanguine, 2011
This review aims at presenting a state of the art on platelet functions, not only in well-characterized hemostasis and thrombosis, but also in various domains such as inflammation, immunity, angiogenesis, source of growth factors, metastasis and vascular remodelling.

In vitro production of embryos in swine

Theriogenology, 2002
In recent years, progress has been achieved in the production of pig embryos through IVM and IVF techniques. Cytoplasmic maturation of oocytes has been improved by modifications to IVM procedures. However, the historical problem of polyspermic penetration still remains a major issue to be solved.

In Vitro Diagnostic Product Development

2015
The regulatory framework for in vitro diagnostic reagents in China has been undergoing fast and fundamental changes. In addition to the knowledge of the in vitro diagnostic reagent market in China, it is also important for international companies to know the current regulations and the clinical requirements that, if met, will efficiently and ...
