Our study provides a proof of concept for combining immune priming with assisted migration for insect conservation. Introducing genetically diverse, immune‐primed migrants improves both pathogen resistance and reproductive success in inbred individuals.

Doubting Thomas: Aquinas on Doubt and the Act of Faith
Abstract Several modern theologians affirm that doubt is compatible with faith, even as authoritative voices from the Christian tradition deny this. On the Identifiability of Genetic Parameters for Growth in Mice With a Massively Deep Pedigree
ABSTRACT In models with direct and maternal genetic effects, structural features of the data are a potential source of bias and low accuracy of estimates for genetic covariance parameters. One of the well‐known reasons for such poor practical identifiability is the lack of dams with own observations.

TaSED interacts with TaSPA synergistically regulating SDS‐sedimentation volume in bread wheat
Wheat TaSED is a positive regulator of SDS‐sedimentation volume, an indicator of gluten strength and thus baking properties. TaSED interacts with the transcription factor TaSPA regulating wheat storage protein gene expression, altering protein composition and affecting SDS‐sedimentation volume, providing a valuable genetic resource for improving wheat ...

The Mechanism of Expansion and the Volatility it created in Three Pheromone Gene Clusters in the Mouse (\u3ci\u3eMus musculus\u3c/i\u3e) Genome [PDF]
Three families of proteinaceous pheromones have been described in the house mouse: androgen-binding proteins (ABPs), exocrine gland–secreting peptides (ESPs), and major urinary proteins (MUPs), each of which is thought to communicate different ...

Embodying Tradition and Ascribing Meaning: Israeli Jewish Atheists Choosing to Circumcise Their Sons
ABSTRACT This article explores the meanings Israeli–Jewish atheists ascribe to their choice to circumcise their sons. Despite their lack of religious belief, many choose to engage in this practice, often seen as a typical representation of Jewish physical embodiment. Employing a lived religion approach, which emphasizes the multifaceted nature of human
