Overcoming Illegal Cross-border Transfer of Personal Data
Objective: to form of a comprehensive interdisciplinary legal and technological risk management model in the field of illegal cross-border transfer of personal data by eliminating legislative gaps and creating a system for automated control of outgoing ...

Given a family $\F$ of posets closed under disjoint unions and the operation of taking convex subposets, we construct a category $\C_{\F}$ called the \emph{incidence category of $\F$}. This category is "nearly abelian" in the sense that all morphisms have kernels/cokernels, and possesses a symmetric monoidal structure akin to direct sum.

Optical Trapping and Control of a Dielectric Nanowire by a Nanoaperture
We demonstrate that a single sub-wavelength nanoaperture in a metallic thin film can be used to achieve dynamic optical trapping and control of a single dielectric nanowire.

Emerging role of ARHGAP29 in melanoma cell phenotype switching
This study gives first insights into the role of ARHGAP29 in malignant melanoma. ARHGAP29 was revealed to be connected to tumor cell plasticity, promoting a mesenchymal‐like, invasive phenotype and driving tumor progression. Further, it modulates cell spreading by influencing RhoA/ROCK signaling and affects SMAD2 activity. Rho GTPase‐activating protein

An investigation on drivers' looking aside behavior analyzed by using drive recorder data
It has been well known that the drivers' looking aside behavior is one of the cause of traffic accidents. However, it is difficult to investigate the causal relationship between the looking aside and accident.

Unreliability of travel times in urban areas is partly caused by traffic incidents. Traffic operations can be further hindered by the occurrence of secondary incidents and associated traffic delays. Understanding the characteristics of incidents that occur on urban freeways and forecasting their impacts can help decision-makers select better ...

Adaptaquin selectively kills glioma stem cells while sparing differentiated brain cells. Transcriptomic and proteomic analyses show Adaptaquin disrupts iron and cholesterol homeostasis, with iron chelation amplifying cytotoxicity via cholesterol depletion, mitochondrial dysfunction, and elevated reactive oxygen species.

Scattering of an exponential pulse by a single atom
We discuss the scattering of a light pulse by a single atom in free space using a purely semi-classical framework. The atom is treated as a linear elastic scatterer allowing to treat each spectral component of the incident pulse separately.

Remarks on the non-equilibrium effects and collision dynamics in heavy-ion collisions
We study the beam energy dependence of equilibration process and space-time characteristics of participant and spectator matter. For this, we simulated the semi-central collisions of $^{40}Ca+ ^{40}Ca$ at incident energies of 400, 600 and 1000 AMeV ...
