Loss of the miR‐214/199a cluster is associated with recurrence in ovarian cancer. Engineered small extracellular vesicles (m214‐sEVs) elevate miR‐214‐3p/miR‐199a‐5p in tumor cells, suppress β‐catenin, TLR4, and YKT6 signaling, reprogram tumor‐derived sEV cargo, reduce chemoresistance and migration, and enhance carboplatin efficacy and survival in ...

Partial Diallel Crosses in Incomplete Blocks
Various forms of diallel crosses play an important role in evaluating the breeding potential of genetic material in plant and animal breeding (e.g., Hinkelmann, 1975, in A Survey of Statistical Design and Linear Models, 243-269. Amsterdam: North Holland).

Convex Cone Conditions on the Structure of Designs [PDF]
Various known and original inequalities concerning the structure of combinatorial designs are established using polyhedral cones generated by incidence matrices. This work begins by giving definitions and elementary facts concerning t-designs.

Somatic mutational landscape in von Hippel–Lindau familial hemangioblastoma
The causes of central nervous system (CNS) hemangioblastoma in Von Hippel–Lindau (vHL) disease are unclear. We used Whole Exome Sequencing (WES) on familial hemangioblastoma to investigate events that underlie tumor development. Our findings suggest that VHL loss creates a permissive environment for tumor formation, while additional alterations ...

Beyond its role in immune evasion, this study identified that CD47 drives tumor‐intrinsic signaling in non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Transcriptomic profiling and functional studies revealed that CD47 regulates cell adhesion, migration, and metastasis through an ERK–EMT signaling axis.

We analyze cisplatin–DNA adducts (CDAs) and double‐strand breaks (DSBs) in a cell‐cycle‐dependent manner. We find that CDAs form similarly across all cell cycle phases. DSBs arise only in S‐phase. CDAs might not directly impair DSB repair, but S‐phase DSB lesions evolve in the presence of CDAs and disrupt repair in G2, also causing radiosensitization ...

Missing Data Imputation in Balanced Construction for Incomplete Block Designs
Observational data with massive sample sizes are often distributed on many local machines. From an experimental design perspective, investigators often desire to identify the effect of new treatments (even ML algorithms) on many blocks of experimental ...
