Memristive Chaotic Circuit for Information Processing Through Time

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
A chaotic circuit that exploits the nonlinear characteristics of a memristive device is realized in hardware. The circuit response evolves through simple periodic, multiperiod, and chaotic regimes. The circuit also displays fading memory property. Finally, the circuit is used in a reservoir computing architecture to demonstrate nonlinear classification

Bounds on the non-real spectrum of differential operators with indefinite weights [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
Ordinary and partial differential operators with an indefinite weight function can be viewed as bounded perturbations of non-negative operators in Krein spaces.

Donaldson-Witten theory and indefinite theta functions

open access: yes, 2017
We consider partition functions with insertions of surface operators of topologically twisted N=2, SU(2) supersymmetric Yang-Mills theory, or Donaldson-Witten theory for short, on a four-manifold.

Boundary blow-up for differential equations with indefinite weight

open access: yesJournal of Differential Equations, 2003
Let \(q:[0,1]\to \mathbb{R}\) and \(g:\mathbb{R}\to \mathbb{R}\) be continuous functions. Consider the following problem: \(x''+q(t)g(x)=0\) and \(x(0^{+})=x(1^{-})=+\infty\). Using a topological approach and under some general assumptions, such as superlinear growth at infinity for \(g\) and possibly changing sign on its domain, the existence and ...

“You're this person who's providing light”: Embodied responses to information loss and transition within LGBTQIA+ communities

open access: yesJournal of the Association for Information Science and Technology, EarlyView.
Abstract This paper reports on findings from 15 semi‐structured interviews with LGBTQIA+ individuals within the United States who have experienced the loss of one or more LGBTQIA+ information spaces. The paper specifically focuses on how such losses occurred and the information transitions experienced by the participants in response to this loss ...

Eigenvalue Problems for Fractional $p(x,y)$-Laplacian Equations with Indefinite Weight

open access: yesTaiwanese journal of mathematics, 2019
. In this paper, we consider a class of eigenvalue problems for fractional p ( x, y )-Laplacian equations with indefinite weight in fractional Sobolev space with variable exponent. Under some suitable conditions on the growth rates involved in the problem,

International Cooperation and Corporate Strategies: Accelerating Corporate Energy Transitions in Emerging Economies

open access: yesBusiness Strategy and the Environment, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Driven by the growing focus on decarbonisation and energy economic dynamics in emerging economies, this study examines the interplay between executive compensation (EC), sustainability‐based compensation (SBC), board sustainability committee initiative (BSCI), corporate energy transition initiatives (CETIs), corporate carbon emissions (CCEs ...

Moore-Penrose inverses of Gram matrices Leaving a Cone Invariant in an Indefinite Inner Product Space

open access: yes, 2015
In this paper we characterize Moore-Penrose inverses of Gram matrices leaving a cone invariant in an indefinite inner product space using indefinite matrix multiplication.

Targeting MAN1B1 potently enhances bladder cancer antitumor immunity via deglycosylation of CD47

open access: yesCancer Communications, EarlyView.
Abstract Background Only a few bladder cancer patients benefit from anti‐programmed cell death protein 1/programmed cell death ligand 1 immunotherapy. The cluster of differentiation 47 (CD47) plays an important role in tumor immune evasion. CD47 is a highly glycosylated protein, however, the mechanisms governing CD47 glycosylation and its potential ...
