Disappearing race in criminology: Stigma, race, and loss
Abstract This article is based on Katheryn Russell‐Brown's 2025 presidential address at the 85th annual meeting of the American Society of Criminology, held in Washington, D.C. The article begins with an overview of the Author's approach to research and the highlights of her scholarly contributions.

An existence result for a Robin problem involving $p(x)$-Kirchhoff-type equation with indefinite weight [PDF]
This paper discusses the existence of at least two distinct nontrivial weak solutions for a class of $p(x)$-Kirchhoff-type equation plus an indefinite potential under Robin boundary condition.

A Discontinuous Sturm-Liouville Operator With Indefinite Weight
In this paper, we consider an indefinite Sturm-Liouville operator with eigenparameter-dependent boundary conditions andtransmission conditions. In an appropriate space K, we define a new self-adjoint operator A such that the eigenvalues ofA coincide with those of such a problem and obtain asymptotic approximation for its eigenvalues and eigenfunctions.

Riesz Bases of Root Vectors of Indefinite Sturm-Liouville problems with eigenparameter dependent boundary conditions, I [PDF]
We consider a regular indefinite Sturm-Liouville problem with two self-adjoint boundary conditions, one being affinely dependent on the eigenparameter.

Unpacking China's Digital Ascent in the Global South: The Case of Huawei in North Africa
ABSTRACT Despite frequent concerns in Western policy and media circles about the risks of using Chinese telecommunications suppliers, firms like Huawei have encountered little resistance from governments or citizens in the Global South. Empirical research explaining this acceptance remains limited.

Schrödinger equations with indefinite weights in the whole space
We consider in this Note equations defined in RN involving Schrödinger operators with indefinite weight functions and with potentials which tend to infinity at infinity. We give some results for the existence of principal eigenvalues and for the maximum principle. We also obtain Courant–Fischer formulas for such eigenvalues.

Abstract This study examines the adaptive market hypothesis in the prewar and wartime Japanese stock market using a new market capitalization‐weighted price index. First, we find that the degree of market efficiency varies over time and with major historical events. This implies that the hypothesis is supported in this market.

Linear elliptic eigenvalue problems involving an indefinite weight
