Porphyrin as a Reagent of New Indicator Reaction for the Catalytic Determination of Ultra Trace Amounts of Ruthenium(III) [PDF]

Abstract A new function of porphyrin as an analytical reagent for an indicator reaction has been developed. The decomposition rate of porphine ring with oxidizing agent was accelerated in the presence of ultra trace amounts of metal ions, such as ruthenium(III).
